Fencing Course for Junior Beginners

Kingston Fencing Club trains juniors from age 8, and offers them the opportunity to progress by fencing adults in the club as they gain in experience.

The course is based on 5 levels of Club Achievement awards developed by our club coach, Ian Keeble.

Dates

Summer Course starts Tue 11 May 2010 for 10 weeks - STARTED
Autumn Course starts Tue 7 Sep 2010 for 10 weeks - BOOK NOW

Times

Evenings from 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm (report at 6.15 pm)

Cost

£60.00. This fee covers:

  • the course (see dates above)
  • use of equipment (see below)
  • membership of the British Fencing Association (for personal insurance cover)

Cheques must be payable to "Kingston Fencing Club".

Equipment

Foils, jackets, plastrons, gloves and masks will be provided; participants should wear stretchy trousers (e.g. track suit), a short-sleeve T-shirt, and trainers. It is also advisable for participants to bring their own bottled drinking water.
