We run adult beginners courses four times a year. Details of the next course can be found here. By joining one of our courses you will benefit from a structured introduction to fencing amongst a group of fencers of a similar standard. Every week one of our experienced coaches will instruct you in a fencing technique that builds on previous lessons before allowing the group to practise. Your syllabus will be designed so that by the end of the course you are integrated into the club and feel able to fence with other members.
We also run beginners courses for children over the age of eight. More specific information on junior fencing at Kingston can be found here.
For Adult Beginners every Tuesday, between 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm throughout the year. We generally only close over the Christmas break. Junior courses are run on Tuesdays. Details can be found here.

The club has an 'armoury' of protective clothing and weapons you can use. However you do need to bring a pair of tracksuit bottoms or jogging pants (not shorts), trainers and a short sleeved t-shirt.
The fees for the adult beginners course can be found here. If you want to continue fencing you can see Membership and visitors fees on the fees page.
After we've finished fencing we normally visit New Malden Tennis Club for a drink. Our Head Coach Ian is usually more than happy to buy the first round.
